Extremely low calorie diets and hours of excessive exercise seen me lose 23kilos.
The yo-yo dieting, starving myself during the week followed by binging over the weekends was taking its toll on me though.
I started to spiral out of control.
The loss of control seen me regain almost all my weight I had lost, left me with little energy and played havoc on my emotions.
That was the final straw before I started MP with my trainer Elizabeth.
It took me time to change the mindset that I needed hours of exercise and severe food restriction to reach my goals however sticking with it week after week as I learned a better way the journey became that little bit easier. I was determined to see my first 12 week round of MP give me the perfect start to my new lifestyle.
And it didn’t disappoint!
I have now gained my life back!
The binges are pretty much a thing of the past; I am happy, healthy and full of energy.
I have a positive relationship with food and no longer stress about that and exercise because I now understand why I am doing what I am doing.
The best part however is scale related. I now finally feel the scales no longer define the person I am which I once felt they did.
The journey I am on now is one I can clearly see myself following for the rest of my life.
